My friends and I had a great time at American Fifth Spirits. I had the Black Ice, which was sweet and tart. One friend had the Ashes to Ashes, which he enjoyed. Another friend had the Mango Sunset. He was delighted by the slight heat.
This place is a hidden gym in Lansing. Went to Lansing for a law school reunion and ended up visiting this place. The cocktails are out of this world!! I highly recommend stopping by.
Every cocktail I've had here over the years has been fantastic! They are so well developed and balanced. The seasonal cocktail sampler is such a great offering; I have so much fun getting to try four fantastic cocktails, and I come back for the new sampler every season. I also love the relaxed atmosphere. I, for one, am so glad that there aren't tvs. That would ruin the atmosphere, and I don't want to contend with the sports crowds. This is my favorite bar in Lansing!
