Filet was fantastic and the mushrooms were spot on. Decent atmosphere but nothing overly impressive. Sat at a busy bar so service was ok but the bartender was very professional. This is more like a hole in the wall steakhouse. I'd definitely recommend and return though. Again, food was very good.
This was my first time in the Midwest and when I was looking for high-end restaurants near where we were staying in Michigan, Bowdies came up. Looks can be deceiving! This is my wife and my go to place when we want to splurge and spend too much money for a special occasion (anniversary tonight) but tonight, we were disappointed. We were sat at a table that was too small and could barely fit the food/drink we ordered, the table was squeezed between 2 large loud tables, and next to a closet with vacuums and things covered with a sheet.
