I went to Capital City Sweets for the first time today. They have a nice selection of ice creams that are made on site, along with their own ready-to-eat cookie dough. They also have a good selection of non-dairy ice creams and sorbets, but nothing sugar free. Prices were quite reasonable for what they have. Even though the address is Michigan avenue, you can't really access it from there. The parking is off Dori Lane and it is in the same area as the red Cedar Lodge retirement...
This place was adorable, and the ice cream we had was superb! They make a variety in-house, with well-loved classic flavors and unique flavors like honey lavender and chai reserve (and I’d recommend both)! :)

We stopped in on our way into Lansing yesterday excited to try a new Ice Cream place. Unfortunately I didn't see anything I wanted but Daughter wanted and ordered a Vanilla Soft Serve Cake Cone, I figured $1.80-$2.00 no.....was over $3 for a simple Vanilla cone, then to boot Daughter threw cone out because it was stale. I left a 3 star because the young lady working on Memorial evening was very kind and I tipped her as well. This isn't Lugnuts game, lower prices because...
