Sunday morning breakfast and about 6 tables full in the entire place. We waited an hour for our food. We had to ask about it and our waitress didn't even remember what we ordered. She came right back with our extremely cold breakfast. It had to have sat waiting for well over a half hour based on the temp. The omelet was cold, not warm, cold. The toast was cold. We got up and left. When made the waitress aware she gave us a very unconcerned sorry as she kept walking by us, not even stopping to hear the problem.

The restaurant was empty . We were sat right away but then had to weight 15 min to get a menu. Another 15 min to put our order in. And then over an hour for our food. 2 plates came but the 3rd was another 20min later. When we complained they said our food would be discounted. He took $2.00 dollars off. Food was also cold and nothing to write home about.

I’m here for a conference and got lucky enough to order a carry out for dinner. Halle took care of me and she’s the sweetest thing ever! The food is amazing, we were told it’s only been open like a week because of the hotel rebranding, so just pack your patience.

Like a previous post we were also there for this weekend for a 3 day dance event. The man that waited on us was in training and his first day so as one would imagine it was a hot mess - this OF COURSE was absolutely no fault of his own so this post is not, AT ALL, directed towards that poor man. However, his trainer, who also seemed to be the bartender was incredibly rude to him (appalling to be matter-of-fact), to us as well but insanely rude to him. The order was all kind of wrong, items were doubled ordered, items missing, extra items added to the tap that weren’t ordered and never received, cold food, took over an hour and actually get our food (it’s to note that we were the only table besides people at the bar - I think maybe 6 at most), checks were wrong when they actually did come…it was a complete mess. I will add a positive to this; the wings were out of the world and not cold. I had fish tacos and they were also great but just a little cold. This restaurant is absolutely not a recommendation and you should steer clear as the experience was awful.

This place belongs in “I am Legend” the movie. It’s a freaking ghost town. No TV, little staff, and a weak kitchen. Either staff the joint or shut it down.Parking: $3 an hour

I went here two nights in a row while on a business trip. The service was very good. The food was good, but not excellent. I had a filet the first night and a New York strip the next. Both were good, although the strip was kind of tough. Both were over seasoned with salt. The Brussels sprouts were good. Garlic mashed an 8 out of 10. Would I come here again? Yes. But if there was another option this close to the hotel where I was staying, that might be another story.

Deceptive business practices. Price shown on web suddenly unavailable. Price went from $132 to $188 in a matter of less than a minute when I tried to book it. When I called was basically told too bad, nothing can be done. I consistently have great experience with Marriott.

For $150 this is a a rough hotel. No breakfast, it's $10 for grab and go. Which is a lukewarm sandwich, muffin and juice box. The bed is among the worst I've slept in at a hotel. It's hard. And the pillows are small. Plus I have to pay extra for parking, $15 or more a day if I leave the parking garage. It's rough for fees. Room if comfortable and spacious other than the bed. And no microwave in the room even.

Dirty. Rooms were gross if you looked beyond the surface of a made bed and wiped down bathroom sink. Carpet in the hallway was disgusting. The restaurant was completely closed and they did not offer pre-made complimentary coffee, although they had some cheesy coffee pods in the room. They did have a semi-Starbucks in the hotel, but you are not allowed to use Starbucks gift cards, because they are not really a Starbucks store. Some staff were pleasant and some others not so much, especially when we asked to change rooms. For the area in general, be prepared for most restaurants being closed on the weekend and when we were walking to find an open restaurant down one of the streets, we were harassed and followed by a homeless person..you definitely want a car, even if something is "in walking distance". OH! and be prepared to pay a whole lot of extra money for parking.

Hotel is decent in the lobby but when you go up to the rooms it could use some updating (hallways smelled weird). Also didn't realize it was not free parking, would have been nice to know before hand.

It was a pleasant overnight stay here. The staff was friendly and although I came late, they provided a meal for me. The accommodations such as the room that staff provided was comfortable and enjoyable. The room I stayed in was very spacious and there were two double beds which I didn't need, but they upgraded me I guess which was nice. It is close to downtown Lansing so you have access to all downtown has to offer with restaurants and shopping if that is of interest. They offered breakfast for me in the morning which was good, although being vegan, there was plenty of things available like cereal, fruit, bread, juice, potatoes, etc. and for those who aren't vegan they had scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, etc. Although it was only for one night, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay. I wouldn't mind coming back here again and would recommend a stay here.

No breakfast, the rooms are rundown, poor cleaning in the entire hotel, vending machines don't work and housekeeping opening door to service before checkout time nor had keys been turned in.

Overall staff was kind and pleasant but the rooms need a little love and care. Definitely due for a deep cleaning and remodel upgrade. Got to the room and refrigerator broken. Maintenance came immediately and swapped it out. Coffee lady in the morning was sweet and adorable. I did feel it was definitely not as clean as it could be. Maybe short staff but this is very important. Good downtown location

Okay intentions with poor follow through. I write this review from the airport shuttle that left 35 minutes later than scheduled. The location is great, especially when visiting the Lansing Center. The sky bridge, mini fridge & airport shuttle were all a pleasant surprise. I called to request a feather free room prior to my arrival and was promised that. Unfortunately the room had feathered pillows. The front desk apologized but only had one non-feathered pillow to give me because it was late. That pillow also had feathers!! They were able to swap out the pillow the next day and apologized and filled the mini-fridge with extra water. Pros: - Location - Mini-fridge in room - Quiet Cons: - Old hotel - Water doesn't drain in shower - Cannot accommodate requests - Inconsistencies of staff. One person tells you one thing and the other tells you something completely different.
