Brynn made sure we kept in touch throughout the planning process and modified our event order when needed. The day of the event, she arrived early with a crew of awesome helpers who showed awesome customer service the entire time! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh BBQ and all the sides - the mac and cheese was a huge hit! The Slice team brought out their mobile pizza oven and made fresh pies and breadsticks through the very end so everyone was able to get a hot meal. Dozens of people let me know how amazing the food was and we can’t recommend them enough!!“

Well we get there at 7:01 and guess what? They are closed. We see people and ask what's up and show them what Google says and they tell us that they have NEVER been open past 7 in their existence. So we wasted our time and gas because this stupid page has incorrect info.“

“Every time I see the 517 Picnic Food Truck at the Allen Street Farmers Market, I can't help but crave a smash burger. The burgers are made with quality ingredients which you can really taste, making it worth the price. The smoked gouda grilled cheese is another good sandwich. The garlic herb fries and fried brussels sprouts are great sides to have with your meal. There are vegan options but I have not tried them myself. The food truck accepts cash or card though there is a small fee for using card.

Parking: During the non-winter seasons when the Allen Street Farmers Market, the parking lot is closed and you must find street parking.“

“Food was excellent! We appreciated the all organic and fresh artisan bread. Service was so kind during a very busy Sunday brunch. Charming, old world mixed with modern aesthetic. Impressed and will be returning.

“The food is top notch and even though it may seem a bit pricey at first, the serving sizes are quite large so you’re essentially paying for two meals because you’ll have lots of leftovers. The pharmaceutical reps who bring food to my office often cater from here and everything is always great and on time. It’s really nice having another high quality Arabic restaurant in Lansing and the fact that it’s halal makes it even better!“
