Wide range of menu options from tamales to tostadas to burritos and many sides. I got the taco dinner special for $9.99, 3 shredded beef tacos (your choice of meat) with a side of rice and beans. The tacos were perfectly balanced with meat and accoutrements. Each taco in two soft corn tortillas. Rice and beans light and fresh - tasted great. I would return without a doubt and try other options they have to offer, not because I didn't love the tacos, but because after my first experience - I'd have to guess that everything on their menu is delicious!

Some of the best tacos this side of the Mississippi. There's another location on Michigan Ave. as well, but we usually go to the one inside Tony's Liquor. I'll get taco plates with rice and beans, tortilla chips, and grab some Jarritos, too. We try to pick up tacos whenever we're in town.

My husband I went to the truck they have on Michigan, about a block from Qaulity Dairy. I eneded up getting a breakfast burrito with eggs, ham and what looked like tomatoes. I ended getting real sick from it. Now it has me leary of going to food trucks.

When I worked in Lansing 2008-2013 I lunched at El Oasis fairly often. It wasn't long before I got hooked on the Torta with pastor with a dangerous looking hot sauce (which I liked), and a great bun. I went back a couple of Saturdays ago. Both the meat and the sauce have changed.... they're even better...(the sauce doesn't look toxic anymore). I might have to make the 35 mile trip a little more often.

The food is decent enough, but the best part is the cute little seating area next to their food truck. They've got some flowers and water features which produce a pleasant dining experience. However, it's disappointing to see so much plastic bags, plastic silverware, and styrofoam containers get used for a few minutes and then thrown in the trash. They should really consider more sustainable practices.

El Oasis has some of the best Mexican food in the Lansing area and is certainly my first choice, but they need to work on their hours as its always a risk driving to them as you never know if they are going to be open or not. I have tried to call them but they never seem to answer even if they are open.

If you live in the Lansing area you know El O, and if you don't then you should. Superb mexican food for extremely reasonable prices. They're always pretty speedy with orders and they have such a nice little spot on Michigan Ave. It's one of my go to spots hands down.

El Oasis consistently serves the best breakfast burritos in the Greater-Lansing area. The traditional tacos (steak, onion, cilantro, and corn tortillas) are superb too, and pricing is fair. If you're looking for close-to-traditional Mexican food, this is one of the best in the area.
