Is this a good place for a semi passable cross dresser to go in public for the first time?
Nice atmosphere, cute local LGBTQ+ bar 🏳🌈 very low key. Local gay dive bar. Mostly local folks. They have pool and a pinball machine.
Great little gay bar. They need to figure out the service thing on pride day. This place is always packed for pride obviously and the line takes FOREVER to get through. But any other day/night great spot and service is much better. Good prices and strong drinks

Esquire Bar is a Lansing classic, offering a great atmosphere that's not too loud or quiet. The friendly staff, including Joel behind the bar, provide excellent service. This iconic gay bar is beautifully decorated, especially during Christmas.
