The food was excellent, but the crown jewel was the service. Ellie is the best server in all of Lansing, nay, Michigan. Her skill set is truly unparalleled and should thusly be compensated as such.
A cute little diner that offers a variety of vegan options. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is calm and welcoming. I got the biscuits and mushroom gravy w/flapjacks and refried beans and house potatoes.
+This is a good atmosphere geared towards families with younger children.
+Didn't have to wait too long for food.
-Without them, I don't think there is too much of an appeal. I'll save my diatribe on menu nomenclature to prevent pissing on the parade.
-Not a great menu if you are looking for something hearty. Even on something that I thought might meet this definition, the Beauregard, had blueberry sauce that was overly sugary.
