Almost every time we order an Olga with Olga’s way which includes the almond cheese and snackers seasoning, they don’t put it on. This time, we went back in to have it fixed but instead of offering to remake it they gave us extra seasoning but not extra cheese to put on ourselves. The Olga’s way add on is like $2.00 so to no put it in the sandwich is diabolical. Would not recommend ordering Olga’s way because you will probably not receive it that way for carry out. Otherwise...
My mother and I love coming to Olga's for lunch. The food is excellent. So many different choices on their menu. Never a bad choice because everything is delicious. The staff are quite friendly, super efficient and always seem like they're happy to be there and they always make us feel welcome. The restaurant is very clean. The bathroom is very clean. We will continue to visit Olga's to enjoy this Detroit classic.
I like olgas food, especially the salads. I had stopped purchasing the spinach pie because of the price and it was not cooked correctly. I purchased one recently and it was pretty good. They are still highly priced, but at least it was cooked correctly. I wish they would put a little more toppings on the salads. Sometimes the small things make you go elsewhere.
