I checked in very late, so I was surprised that they didn't allow a late checkout. I wasn't offered cookies, which I thought was also a miss. Elevators seem older and kind of slow. Rooms are nice and spacious with great views. Great location. Beautiful views. Fair pricing.

I have stayed at this hotel several times for work functions (because the conference has a contract with the hotel, not by choice) and every single time it is a giant hassle. I have had problems checking in to the point that the last time took 90 mins because they could not find my work’s credit card authorization(even though I could show them the email communication from two months earlier when I had completed it). Every time I have stayed here something in the hotel was broken. Once the water went out and they had to move us to another hotel. Getting a receipt for that adventure took about 8 months of constantly calling their inept management. This most recent stay the elevators went down and I was forced to walk up 8 flights of stairs at 11:30 at night after enduring a 16 hour work day. Do yourself a favor and just hit yourself in the shin with a golf club rather than staying at this travesty of a hotel. Trust me, you will experience less pain.

Really nice shower, bed, nicely remodeled, clean, good customer service when asked how to change the temperature in the room.

Stayed at this hotel for a conference. Room was very clean and front desk staff were polite and knowledgeable. I used the valet service. When I was ready to checkout they were short staffed. It took a little longer than I had hoped to get my car, but Evan J did a fabulous job getting through the line of guest waiting on their vehicles. He had a smile on his face and was really hustling. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Lansing area.

One night business stay. Comments about elevator is spot on. They need some TLC.

Had dinner and breakfast at the Capital Grille onsite. And the food was great!

I had a room on the top floor and it was clean and had a nice river view.

Valet is great. R was very courteous.

Will stay here again.

Parking services were handled with care by Evan J. and the stay in the room was of decent levels. Only major negative i would have about the stay would be the elevators; they were often broken/ out of services and not easily accessible to use in a timely manner. Wait for the elevators would be anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to your amazing receptionist who went above and beyond to help us during our stay. We mistakenly thought we had booked for two nights but only reserved one, and she worked tirelessly to secure us a second night in what is clearly a very busy weekend. Despite being the only one at the desk with the phone ringing non-stop, she remained incredibly patient, kind, and resourceful. Traveling with a newborn and three adults is no small task, and she truly saved us with her dedication and care. We hope her hard work and outstanding customer service are recognized—she absolutely deserves a raise! Thank you again for having such a wonderful team member on staff.

Expensive for the quality, but you are paying for the location. I love that there is a walk way from the hotel to the Lansing center.
