Vegetarians, carnivores, and vegans alike can all break bread at Woody's Oasis. The best Lentil and Rice soup and Lentil and vegetable soup I think are found here. Their Cabbage Salad is crisp and herby, while the Falafel is crispy and flavorful. Chicken Shawarma and Chicken Kabobs are excellent as well as the Mediterranean salad. The fries are also excellent. Woody’s Oasis was recommended by the staff at Michigan State University vet hospital. This was the first time we visited this restaurant. The counter staff person was friendly, offered menu suggestions and answered all of my questions. She even told me the best way to eat the Falafel wrap! We spent about $27 on two falafel wraps, side dishes and drinks. I spent another $10 on a tray with a variety of desserts. I am a big Mediterranean fan but always went to flint or Jerusalem bakery in lansing. Recently I was told about Woody’s and tried it out for the first time 3 wks ago. It was so good that I haven’t stopped thinking about it! Hands-down, the best tabouli, and baba ghanoush I’ve ever had. Today I drove 45 mins to order enough to last me for a few days! Lol Someone please tell me why their stuff is so much better than anywhere else?!I need the recipes! Lol ?
