Excellent service threw the drive thru. They had our order correct the first time, and we had our food in hand within minutes, so it was still Hot. The window service was very friendly and helpful. A # 1 that night.

Received cold fried and asked for new ones and was told they couldn’t be cold because she just got them. Then my daughter had a hair in her burger so she took it up there and was told that the hair couldn’t be hers because it wasnt black then she walked away. I went up there and demanded they remark it and asked for a manager and that was the manager. Not sure why anyone would allow someone with such horrible customer service manage anything or be around people. I will never return to any steak and shake after this. They really need to be aware who they put in charge of there stores this is sad

To start off employees were just talking not doing what was supposed to be done, a employee threw my fries off the tray due to not knowing how to pronounce a name, also my meals were wrong as well as hair in the food, no employees wearing hair nets.

The only reason I still patronize this business is my mother loves the milkshakes. But on this occasion, I realized I need to take my milkshake money somewhere else. I waited 10 minutes for a milkshake with 1 customer ahead of me. Do better.

I stopped at the drive through to surprise my kids with a shake. We don't even live in this area or have a steak and shake where we live. I was reading the options to my kids so they could decide what they wanted and the cashier asked me if we were just getting shakes or food and shakes. I said I wasn't sure and was trying to ask the other passengers (my kids) and I asked her if there was a reason why.. (I have never been asked this before) then she responded "yes, there is" and I asked "why" which she snarkily replied " because there are only 2 of us and I could be starting on them if your only getting shakes" I still was trying not to be rude because I understand the overwhelming feeling alot of essential workers are experiencing, but this was already extremely inappropriate. I then said " im not sure yet" and she responded "OBVIOUSLY" at this point I went straight to the window because this could not be for real. Oh, it was! I was greeted by the same poorly mannered individual who advised me she felt it was okay to not only speak to customers in this manner,but also she wouldn't have done it if she didn't think it was okay! I am just embarrassed for steak and shake that this is the face your customers are seeing and this is costing you money! Have a good job search young lady!
