Best food I've had in the greater Lansing area. Period. Highly recommend the Pollo Saltado & Lomo Saltado. Ingredients were fresh, seasoned to perfection, prepared & served with precision, passion, and care. I am an omnivore -my only restriction being no lactose- and had a host of options to choose from, although there are many vegetarian options on the menu as well. Was fortunate enough to meet Jose and am impressed by everything he's put in to Tantay. Cannot wait for Tantay's full-sized restaurant location to open in Okemos. Looking forward to becoming a regular.

There aren’t many Peruvians or Peruvian restaurants in Michigan so this one is the best. It’s not cheap because of the quality of ingredientes and the complexity of the preparation.

Operating out of the Accelerator Kitchen at Allen Place along side other restaurants in a shared space, I love eating at Tantay for when I''m craving some Peruvian flavors. My favorite is the Lomo Saltado. If you're interested in some South American cuisine in Lansing, this is a restaurant to check out!

The food was tasty but the portion sizes were honestly kind of pathetic for the prices. Looking at some of the pictures others have posted on here, it looks like other people got much more reasonable portions. Maybe our server/cook didn't like us for some reason? She had a very cool/unfriendly attitude, not rude exactly but acted kind of unhappy that we were there. A little disappointed as the ceviche was a new experience and very delicious but we felt somewhat slighted by what we got and how we were treated. The amount of quinoa we got was also pretty pathetic.Gotta say that the Hong Kong Restaurant staff that operate out of the same building are A+, though. We ended up ordering a fish from them which was delicious just because they were so friendly to us and our kiddo.

We bought their foods at fast time, and I never had Persian foods before. We loved their chicken dish, mushroom dish, kale salad and soup, which have fresh ingredients and flavors that some are new to me. We are very satisfied by eating the healthy and high quality meals. The staff is super friendly- and this incubator kitchen is inspiring. I ordered the Aji de Champinones on this moist, chilly day- and it was perfect. Warming, flavorful, and delicious. They even brought out free samples of Pincones- a fried, sweet treat.

Tantay was catering at a charity event and had by far the best food of any of the other vendors. Thier soup was amazing, the chicken and rice was spicy and flavorful, and the quinoa dish was the best quinoa dish I've ever had.
