We went on a Thursday night around seven. The wait was 30 minutes. We waited in the car for a text, which came 40 minutes. After seated we waited 10 mins for water and to place the order. While waiting, we struggled to hear each other speaking. The atmosphere was loud and chaotic. We waited another 20.minutes to eat. My medium rare sirloin arrived well done. My partners well done steak kabobs were medium rare. We just switched plates because we didn't want to wait. The barbeque chicken was dry and swimming in a sauce I am sure came from a can. The rice side was lackluster and flavorless. We agreed that we will never be going back. Sorry Texas Road house, At $20 a person , food quality and taste need an overhaul. No value for the money. Buyer beware.

My family and I dine here regularly, typically enjoying both the atmosphere and the food. On this occasion, however, we encountered an issue with our meal: after sending back our steak, we waited almost 30 minutes for a replacement, by which time our sides had become cold. In a respectful and calm manner, we simply inquired about the possibility of a discount due to the extended wait time and the compromised quality of our meal.
Unfortunately, when addressing the matter with Manager Sam, her response was not only dismissive but also combative. She was rude, rolled her eyes, and seemed visibly irritated by the very presence of our request. As a manager, I would expect a more professional and respectful approach, especially when addressing a customer’s concerns in a polite and non-confrontational manner. Her aggressive demeanor escalated the situation unnecessarily and left us feeling uncomfortable. Given our longstanding patronage and general satisfaction with your restaurant, this incident was disappointing, and we hope it will be addressed to ensure that future customers do not face a similar experience.

My wife and I ate dinner today at Texas Roadhouse. We have been frequenting this restaurant for years. We have always been pleased with our meals until today. We both ordered 16 oz sirloin steaks, potato and house salad. Our steaks were tough and were extremely salty with none of the seasoning TRH normal uses. After a $70 bill, we will be trying the new store in Lansing next time.

When you walk into Texas Roadhouse, the first thing you notice is the warm, buttery scent of heaven… otherwise known as their rolls. I’m pretty sure those rolls are baked with a pinch of magic and a gallon of melted butter. They’re so addictive that I started calculating how many baskets I could eat before my server started judging me. My lovely wife tried taking one. She nearly got stabbed. Pro tip: They don’t judge. They just keep bringing them.
Now, onto the NY strip steak. I ordered mine smothered in onions and mushrooms because, frankly, why wouldn’t you? When that steak arrived, sizzling on the plate like it just had a standing ovation from the grill, I knew I was in for something special. The meat was tender, juicy, and seasoned so perfectly it made me question if I’d ever truly eaten steak before. The onions and mushrooms? Let’s just say they weren’t a topping—they were a love language.
The atmosphere was lively, the staff was friendly, and the peanut shells on the floor gave me that rugged “cowboy meets carb-lover” vibe. By the time I left, I was so full I considered rolling myself out the door, much like the rolls that started this whole delicious ordeal.
10/10 would recommend. But be warned: you’ll dream about those rolls for days.

The only thing I would change is the option to add a second piece of chicken. I would be more than happy to pay a little extra for an extra chicken breast. Like have a single option or double etc.
