Tavern and Tap offers phenomenal food and service in a comfortable, classic pub atmosphere with a clean, modern vibe. Their Jalapeño Margarita is a highlight, made with homemade sour and a perfect balance of sweet and refreshing flavors. The burgers are fresh and generously sized, while the chef's salad is a standout, featuring fresh ingredients that don't overpower the dish. The squash soup is a must-try, and the World Famous Troppo salad is also highly recommended for its good portion size and the delicious raspberry vinaigrette that brings all the flavors together. Although some visitors have mentioned that the food could be prepared and presented better, the quality of the ingredients shines through. The atmosphere is visually pleasing, with a cool location in downtown Lansing, despite being a bit noisy at times.
