I had such a great experience at Urban Beat in Old Town, Lansing! The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and welcoming , the perfect mix for a night out. The live music was outstanding, especially getting to see my cousin (Twyla) perform on stage. The sound quality and setup really highlight the artists, and you can feel the energy in the room.

I worked here briefly and they refuse to email me my pay stubs. They also revoked my access to my paystubs. Which I need for financial reasons. They also refuse to hire a door person for events, putting many of their workers in harms way. Especially during this time when places like the Ave. are being harassed and the other Nazi harassment in old town. They also threaten to cut peoples pay if they do not sell enough. I do not recommend.
