My husband and I had a date night here this past weekend. We'd never been and were excited about the atmosphere and lake views. Those did not disappoint! What was disappointing was the food. We specifically asked for our fries to be crispy and they came out floppy and sad. Our server was a great guy (though he didn't give his name), he gave my husband a good recommendation on a beer. There were a couple of times that I tried to get his attention (about the floppy fries...
Always a wait at dinner, longer if you want to sit outside which is nice to do. If your are on Nepessing Lake, you could pull your up to dock to eat. I love the chicken and chips that isn't on the menu but you can get if you ask. Service isn't great most of the time. It can be difficult to find close parking.
It's a beautiful place. The good was amazing and the price was good for the quality and amount of food. Service was friendly, but on the slower side. We sat outside and apparently you can't open the umbrellas... So, if you sit outside, know that you have to sit without any shade.
