About Fruit Street Kitchen ll

Fruit Street Kitchen II is a restaurant worth visiting, offering delicious and flavorful meals. The grilled pork chops, chicken tenders, catfish, and rib tips have all received high praise for their taste and quality. The cornbread is a standout, although it was noted that a spicy jalapeño version was accidentally served instead of the usual sweet recipe. The restaurant's fried cabbage, featuring smoked turkey, carrots, and green peppers, and the glazed Brussels sprouts with blue cheese and bacon, are not to be missed. The Italian beef and sausage combo is tasty and presented lovely, though messy. The catfish and grits are amazing.

The restaurant has a fascinating backstory, starting as a small offering of food to friends and family on social media, and growing into one of the top soul food restaurants in West Michigan. The service is excellent and very pleasant, with Monique providing excellent care for her customers. Rico is a fantastic chef. The location is a bit out of the way, but it is well worth the trip. The sweet Kool-Aid offered is an added bonus that should not be overlooked. Overall, Fruit Street Kitchen II is a highly recommended dining destination.

Food was amazing and delicious. We've gone twice now and enjoyed everything. We both had the Italian beef and sausage combo. Messy but worth every napkin we went through.
Why is this place not packed full on a Saturday night?

Stopped by the street kitchen for the first time today and the food was great, it was seasoned to perfection and very fresh I most definitely will be back next time I'm in town

First time tonight and we will be back. Food was excellent and great customer service. Make sure you bring your appetite because they don’t skimp on the serving size. Lawrence is lucky they have such z great restaurant in their village. Hidden gem.
