The bad: run down, smelly entryway is not a good sign. They only take checks or cash which is annoying. (Have to assume lots of tourists come here. Why not just take cards and save yourself and your guests the aggravation?) Had to go to an ATM nearby that charged me a fee of $3.50. So we're starting off on a bad note. This is our first time here. Karen was our waitress and she was so much fun! She recommended the the Early Burger and it was delicious! Along with the Yukon Gold potatoes. Great experience all around!! We will be back!! And hopefully Karen will be here!
This restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch. It is an older place that could use some updating. The decor is still on this side "cozy nostalgia" but getting close to the line being a bit grimey. The service was excellent and the food was decent. The Early Bird is a great option for basic vacation breakfasts. Be aware: They do not take credit or debit cards. Cash or local check only.
