Great place, right on the water with the waterfall in the background. Great scenic spot for drinks and some food. Service has always been good even when they’re really busy. Always try to stop here while in the Leelanau Peninsula.
I had a great time here with friends. The vibe of the dam, the food, and service are all exceptional. Specifically, the Burger in Paradise was everything I’d hope for in a good burger, including the right amount of their locally-sourced chips. To add to the experience, the server Grace was really endearing and helpful for my allergic needs; I knew everything I needed to make a safe selection here, which ended up being gluten-free buns (no peanuts!). The food is always amazing, theres a great view of the dam and the joy boat. Our server Grace R was amazing, very helpful, she checked for our allergies and is a great host. I highly recommend Rick's.
