Ate here for dinner, while on the pricer side I had one the best vegetable based dishes I've come across in a while. A fair amount of the dishes here are GLUTEN FREE.

We really loved staying at The Riverside Inn. It's quaint and beautifully decorated, in the heart of the Fishtown village of Leland. The Riverside is also close to several other areas, like Travers City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Leelanau State Park. We also had dinner at The Riv and it was wonderful. The cocktails were also great - highly recommend!

The host and bartenders were very courteous and very nice to talk to talk to. Room was clean and bathroom/shower were top notch. No tv in room but no big deal. Perfect location to walk around the town.

We have dined at Riverside multiple times and have had the best experiences! We have taken a couple of groups over the past few weeks and they have all been so impressed with the experience and quality of food and service! I have typically had the halibut or the trout last time and both have been amazing. We have multiple short term rentals in the area and recommend Riverside Inn as a must visit for a special experience.

We cannot thank The Riverside Inn enough for making our wedding weekend absolutely everything we dreamed of. We booked out all five rooms at the Inn, and they were amazing—cozy, comfortable, and the perfect place for us and our family to stay together.
The restaurant was just as incredible. The food, drinks, and whisky tasting were unforgettable, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about how wonderful everything (and everyone!) was. From start to finish, Colleen and the entire Riverside team went above and beyond to make our day seamless and so special.

This restaurant was the epitome of fine dining! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and they welcomed us with glasses of champagne. We were astounded that establishments even do that anymore! From the moment we walked in we knew we were in for a pleasant experience. Our waitress was excellent with her recommendations, as the service was top notch. This place served some of the best noodles I have ever had in the Lobster Bucatini. The drinks were solid, but nothing overwhelmed me enough to recommend.
The outdoor seating was delightful and the staff was attentive with water refills, to accommodate for the warmer weather. We thoroughly enjoyed this place, and would come back due to the service alone. Wonderful restaurant to celebrate the finer things of life.

Restaurant review: we have been enjoying the Riverside for many years when we sail/boat over to Leland and have always been delighted with the selections, flavors and service.
We made a reservation for 4 and brought another couple who have not been to the Riverside before. Everyone raved over the dishes we ordered and could not pass up dessert! Everything was fantastic, from the service, seating, presentation and flavors!

We had a fantastic 5-night stay at The Riv! It's very quaint and quiet, and its walkable proximity to Lake Michigan and downtown Leland makes it an ideal base. Plus, being close to Traverse City, Suttons Bay, Northport, and Glen Arbor makes it perfect for exploring all that Leelanau County has to offer.
We dined at The Riv several nights and enjoyed fantastic meals each time.
