This is just a small town bar. There's plenty of ways things could be better, yet I'm hoping they're running on a thin budget, and turnover rather than just not caring. They keep the beer cold, and like many dive bars, one day it's a good meal, and next time you wonder what happened in the kitchen.
Four of us had burgers. Place was only about 2/3 full. Burgers took nearly 25 minutes to arrive. Burgers were flavorful. Buns were standard cheap buns so were destroyed before we finished them. I’ve been told I’m a bread snob and it’s probably true. But patrons should not have to eat their burgers with a fork and knife to get the last half eaten. Napkins don’t stand a chance of cleaning that mess! If they get better buns they will get a better review from me.
We love going to Crossroads. The food is always amazing, the staff is welcoming, friendly, and they make you feel at home. The owner shows how much she cares about the restaurant, her employees we s and her customers.
