“The food was great. The atmosphere was ok.
As a business owner myself I understand the customers who use cc are cutting into profits. Therefore I raised my prices accordingly.t When you upcharge me I take the upcharge out of the tip. Sorry that may offend people but I wasn't told there was an upcharge before I ordered my food. Waitress should be sure to tell the customer before taking the order.“

“Always pleasant at SR. Did a To-Go order this time. The chicken gravy on the carved turkey dinner was delicious. The green beans were similar to fresh. Probably the steam type in a bag that is long, not a can version. My potato skins were delicious as usual. The Club was very good as usual but needed to add mayo or other of your choice when we got it home. I enjoyed my tuna salad croissant in-house more than the one I had this time. I prefer not leaf lettuce for next time. The coleslaw was okay. I wouldn't get it again but that is my choice. Hubby added pepper and some other stuff to his to make it taste better. We love this restaurant and have been going there for at least 7 years now. Friendly waitstaff and other staff. Mike has a great place to keep it alive. Lots of menu choices. Always busy during peak times. Only wish they could expand and even have a banquet room on site. Parking is always so full and if the parking lot is full, usually means the restaurant is full or you may have a few minute wait. Booths need a little more room for the larger folks that come. There are only a couple of tables with chairs so some groups have to wait a little longer to be seated at them. If you can be fitted at a booth, they are a little tight for larger folks. They can take the wall partition down in the center to seat a larger group in two booths if needed.“

So one day I did. They are the best downriver . Nobody touches their s*** lol... went there today and found out they are closed on Monday and Tuesday . “I live in Lansing but was visiting the area with my disabled son. A friend recommended this place to meet at and the experience was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The building is wheelchair accessible. The food was served quickly and was delicious. When I’m in the area again, I definitely will be back.“

“Update 7/10/25: We had another good experience during breakfast. Food was served quickly. My wife said the chicken and waffles was awesome. I had the same dish as before(se pics) and it was just as good as the 1st time.

Pleasantly surprised! Stopped by while our car was being serviced. Our waitress was great. Very willing to recommend items when asked. She came back to check on us several times and the food came out quick once we ordered. It was very tasty and we will be coming back.“

“I eat here fairly regularly. Especially breakfast. The best veggie omelet I've ever had. Coffee comes fast and often. They know my name (and I know theirs too). Good prices and they never rush me. Just wish they were open earlier and later.“

“Holy moly! Best. Chicken. Greek. Salad. Ever! We walked in and the place was packed on a Sunday at lunch, so we knew right away it was probably going to be good. But, we were blown away by the fantastic service and deliciously prepared meals. Homemade Greek dressing was amazing. My friend’s corned beef omelette was perfect, too. I had to try a bite. New ownership, but all the staff remained. Some of the waitresses have been there for over 10 years, so that goes to show they’re happy and taken care of, too. Cute uniform shirts that we recommended they should sell to the public 🙂“

“My family has been eating at Mom's for about 20 years(yummy food, sweet bar). That in itself should show how great it is. The best part? Wonderful, friendly, efficient staff. When the staff has stayed with a restaurant for many years it means the owners treat them really well.
FYI During the Covid19 pandemic the owners sent food to the essential workers our local hospital. So caring and generous?.“

“I ordered the new menu item steak and onion dinner. It came with mashed potatoes w gravy and broccoli with a side of banana nut bread. My drink was a strawberry lemonade. I was seated right away and my food took only 15 minutes at most. The dinner and drink have lots of flavor. The banana nut bread was a little too moist. I will go back again.“

“Understaffed, but who is not these days. Waitress did the best she could since she was only one on the floor. Pot roast is typically really good, meat was tough this time and carrots raw in the center. Omelette was runny and little filling. Typically not like this when we eat here . We will go back but was very disappointed this evening for the amount you are billed. Tipped the waitress well as she was stressed but still was smiling.“
