“Searching for tasty snack to feed the less fortunate I stopped by Cantaro’s Italian market and boy was I in for the surprise of a lifetime that made my day spectacular. I was taken back by the sheer beauty and wide array of products. A plethora of fresh mouthwatering baked goods throughout the store, various stations with cheeses and delicious charcuterie, Halal options for the Muslim shopper like myself, a friendly and diverse staff, and aisle after aisle of delicious looking goods stacked neatly on each shelf. Mr. Eddie told me that this location is over fifty years old! Also that everything is guaranteed fresh and stocked daily. He was even so kind as to give me a vegetarian lasagna worth nearly $20 completely free of charge. I’m incredibly grateful to my maker, Allah The Most High, Most Glorified God That I was given the great idea to stop by Cantaro’s today. I highly recommend this place to everyone that loves Italian food especially with halal options. I am positive the poor and needy will love these treats! “Just had our 5 year old birthday party here today and the staff are well oiled machines! I have seen them in action one time before a year ago at another kids party and they have the party down to a “T”. Everyone is so professional and eager to help so you don’t lift a finger. They are also very enthusiastic throughout the entire experience. The party is also reasonably priced. Cannot recommend enough when you want to sit back and relax!“

I bought 6 loaves of bread, 2 pkgs of English muffins, 2 pkgs of bagels & a box of 24 cupcakes (never shop hungry!). Everything was 2/$3 except the cupcakes ($10, stupid, delicious impulse buy).Now if there only one in Macomb County.

Vegetarian options: It's a bread store, no meat at all.
