I have been going to the bench pub for a couple years now. I've always had a nice time there but last night was an exceptional experience. Being a Monday I knew it would be slow, which i preffer, but the bartender, Anna was an absolute joy. Not only did she take the time to chit chat with me as she went back and forth but I observed her keeping busy the whole time on a slow night. HELLO!!?? The owner needs to pay attention! Burgers are the best but we’re on the hunt for a comparable one. The music is played way too loud and we can barely talk to each other let alone socialize with someone new. It’s not a night club for God’s sake.
Used to like stopping for dinner up here and would have given a solid 4, but the bartender blares the music from the speakers right above the table/booth areas. Had asked our servers repeatedly to have it turned down, but it becomes a battle back and forth with the bartender. Not worth the aggravation to keep going unfortunately.
