Dropped **$20.13** on a 9oz Reuben sandwich… **no sides**, but I did get two half sliced pickles. For that price, I thought I was about to wrestle a deli monster... heck I was expecting a sandwich so big it needed its own zip code. Instead, I got something that looked like it came from the kids’ menu.
Taste? Let’s just say it had the thrill of a Monday morning staff meeting.

03/07/2025 Called at 7:59 pm was told by a male employee I could not place an call in order wow on a Friday night because it was to late i said fine, I arrived at 8:18pm not one single car in the parking lot Also,the guy that answered the phone says something pretty peculiar he said, what I make them good.Don't I i'm lost at this point I haven't even ordered, but I said I'm hungry. Let me proceed. My response was, are you making my sandwich? Which he insisted he was i spent roughly $70 plus dollars i ordered 2 corned beef 1 on rye the other on Onion roll 1 jason's & 1bb's special it took approximately 6 minutes to make these sandwiches. 2 were warm cheese, barely melted. Meat kind of funky mostly fat the other 2 sandwiches were straight up cold cheese meat and bread. I couldn't believe it also mostly fat. I called to complain. He laughed at me and hung up the phone the food was horrible. The customer service was worst not sure of the guy's name, but he needs to be fired.

The corned beef is of very good quality. The Prices are way too high for the size of the sandwich. 10-15 years ago the sandwiches here fit the price of the sandwich. 2/7/25-Update, well I gave them another chance. FAIL. Ordered a $20.99 United. As you will see from the picture it was soaked in grease. The wax paper covering the sandwich and the bag was soaked thru. The meat is dry and tasted old. The pickle was old abd mushy. My husband couldn't finish the sandwich and got physically ill after. My slice of cheesecake was days old. Please get some Windex and clean the display glass on the dessert cooler, so customers can see your desserts clearly so they can see how old they are. Looks like someone used a dirty rag to wipe the glass. Last time. STOP, selling old food! Please do better.

For this to be the famous Bread Baket you guys have gone straight down hill. First, the dry dry corn beef. Sandwich was dry as dessert sand and not tasty. I came 900 miles to have my taste buds and memories tainted by what used to be a great place to dine. No more inside dining and a waitress with a bad attitude. I will give you people 1(one) more chance to get it together, I would really hate to put The Bread basket on Livonia on do not disturb.

Excellent staff with amazing customer service. The food is always great as usual. The building needs updating. Could use a spot for those who can't get up on the stools. The chopped liver is the best in the area.
