I would definitely recommend Culver's Livonia. The food was excellent, fish & chips on a Friday made a perfect dinner, the cheese curds are also really good and the manager Rachel was very helpful with our large order!
They were super busy, but very expedient with getting our large group our food.

The menu provides something for everyone. Fish, Chicken, Burgers. Deluxe Fresh Salads. The ice cream menu is expansive. They specialize in custard and everyday they have a flavor of the day. One of my favorites is Caramel Cashew, Salted Caramel offerings. You can take home pints of some of your favorites pre packed with dates.The Commerce location has ample parking (after shopping at Target or Micheal's ) The service is friendly it can be busy....I recently dined in and was pleased with the spaciousness and cleanliness.Great for meeting friends and definitely family oriented.Parking: They have ample parking.Kid-friendliness: You see plenty of families dining and the staff keeps everything stocked(condiments, straws, napkins)Wheelchair accessibility: The counters are accessible and they have free standing tables.

Twice visited there now for their flavor of the day sundae in the past 2 weeks. I was very disappointed both times, as I received something other than what the flavor of day picture showed near the cashier station.(I was really looking forward to this sundae!)Tonight's special flavor was Turtle. Ordered 2 single scoop sundaes- one for myself, one for my elderly mother. No toppings, just ice cream with pecans.(??) Mom had no toppings at all-just custard and pecans.Isn't turtle supposed to be caramel and fudge? I don't really know, but that's what the picture appeared to show, and what the website says. I didn't have any toppings on mine either-but when I got to the very bottom-my last two spoonfuls- there was a little bit of caramel. My mom loves ice cream, and I've always heard Culver's was great, so I thought I'd get her this special treat!! After two tries recently, both very disappointing, I'm not sure, I'll go again for special sundaes. (DQ, or Baskin Robbins for better made sundae).However, to be fair, I have tried their Butter Burger previously, and it was really good!!Maybe their specialty is not the frozen custard, but simply the burgers and other food. (??)There were a lot of employees working- both in the kitchen, and on the front line-at least 12-15! Maybe just a training issue, and the employees didn't make the sundaes properly? Maybe I'll give them one more try for the sundae daily special(3 times a charm or 3 strikes you're out!).
