Went to 2 locations Dearborn HTS and Livonia, when I walked in both locations smelled horrible. So I left both and settled with a restaurant next door. Absolutely horrible.This is not what I remember working at Dearborn HTS 2 years ago.

I visited after a Menards trip and it took about 15 minutes to get my order taken. Meanwhile my kids were crabby + loud in the drive thru . . The guy in the drive thru apologized for my long wait then took my order. . We waited a little bit for our food .. our order was HOT & completely correct. I wish I took pictures because it was so yummy and fresh. (I promised the kids it would be worth it & the guy in the drive thru was so nice. ) he was polite and kind. He even threw in churros for the kids for our wait. I will be back because it was so good. I got the crispy shrimp taco for the first time it was delicious. It really makes a difference how you’re treated when you eat out or such a short interaction the staff was so nice and smiling. I hope he gets some type of recognition for his kindness. Good to see. 10/10. Thank you !

The atmosphere in my car was great, sun out radio on. The drive thru was very busy and I am sure they were short staffed but that did not stop them from being polite and friendly. They moved as quickly as they could. My food was as ordered and hit the spot.

I love Del Taco, but just had a terrible experience at this location (I normally go to Dearborn or Chesterfield). I ordered a carne asada quesadilla and it was a greasy disgusting mess. The grease soaked through the bag. When I took out the quesadilla, the grease literally dripped off onto my car seat. I had to go back inside to grab about 20 napkins to soak up the grease and it still seeped through. And they didn’t cut the quesadilla so it was just this giant mass of disgusting grease. I will never return to this location, this was vile tbh.

We placed an order online, and the order was ready when I arrived at the restaurant, and I paid for the order and then I ordered a shake that I had to wait for the machine to freeze so I took my food to the car and waited 5 minutes for the shake, went back in to get my shake and came home only to open the box and there were no fries with our order and I was short a shrimp taco, called back up there and was told that we had 7 days to come and pick up 3 fries and a shrimp taco, unacceptable, we requested a refund for the missing food and was told that we would have to request our refund through the app and the food was made with no love, might need to re-evaluate the process, this should not be the end result.

Restaurant/Food gets worse every time I go and I will no longer be eating here. Food is almost not edible and I threw away half my order today. Chips tasted like the fryer oil has never been cleaned or changed. Ingredients used to be fresh and are now of terrible quality and prepared in what looks like a dirty environment. Restaurant lobby was so gross for the 2nd time now. Floor is sticky and tables are filthy. There was a hair in the carry out bag next to mine, which is not appetizing at all. This is very unfortunate because this used to be a good place with fresh food.

Customer service is the biggest issue today at Del taco… The employee was very rude. Lack of training lack of customer skills Lightskin heavyset lady that’s there time was 7:50 PM April 4, 2024 …. Extremely arrogant she passed me my drink. I asked her was everything OK she was arrogant in return so I gave her the drink back and I retrieved my card from her now I see why that Del taco in Lavonia is a 3 star rating. Customer service terrible horrible I will be talking to corporate.

Day shift makes better food than the night shift. If you order after 8pm, you’ll get sloppy tacos, less filling, and the shells will almost always be broken. Day shift will not disappoint.
