The new management was very nice and accommodating. The problem is the food. I didn't get sick, but it's definitely second or third tier sushi as far as the quality and brightness of the taste. I won't go into a lot of detail, but the spicy raw roll I had had that kind of gritty filler that they mix in with the chunks of fish too make the rules seem bigger while giving a pasty chew that away from the taste and texture. Hands down the best sushi in Livonia and a hidden gem. Been coming here for lunch for years. Food is great and the owners are very nice! Always a treat to get NY Sushi. I do really miss when you could dine in here before covid, but the take out is just as good!
I had a carry out order, didn't realize until I was home that one of the rolls was wrong. The rolls were good, dumplings were cold, overall an inexpensive and decent carry out spot.
