Today’s visit I arrived at 4:08 PM that is what time my order was placed. I waited until 4:40 PM to get my order which was a big beef Polish dog fries in a drink. My buddy who ordered after me received his food ate his food and waited for me for 15 minutes just to get my food. Waited another 15 minutes for me to eat. When I received my food at 4:40 PM, I requested the big manager to come talk to me within five minutes I’ve requested this twice for the manager to come, and then a total of 20 minutes. The manager refused to acknowledge or anything, even though he was told that I would like to speak to him. after completing my food, I think the Worker didn’t look too interested for having me wait 30 minutes to get my food 20 minutes for the manager to ignore me. This is not the first bad experience at this location. In fact it’s a second and this is the absolute worst location I’ve ever been to for Portillo‘s. Now I know because it’s the same manager, both times that he does not care nor does the Franchisee probably care either even though the other location in Sterling Heights is amazing. Left the glowing review with the corporate demanding someone contact me from corporate and the franchise team however I feel like this probably won’t solve anything. It’s a shame because I love Portillo‘s but I hate poor service and being ignored by management when there’s a serious issue.

We’ve been in the drive thru for 40 minutes now, everyone else getting orders before us. All we ordered was a kids hot dog and side of fries?? Very confused with their process.

The food was really sloppy, literally soaked through the bread. Waited longer than usual for dine in. When I finally got it my fries where ice cold. But yet the employees had time to chop it up with each other while people waited. Save your money people!

The staff who took the order was awesome! He took his time with my daughter making her own order. The food is good, always delicious.
However this particular location is so filthy. Every table was covered in trash and food crumbs and empty mugs of beer. No one is cleaning the table at all.

Ate outside the first time trying this place. Bacon burger was great. My wife's chicken sandwich was the bomb. Couldn't be more pleased.
Got the burger not terrible but not great either the burger patty was not juicy, kinda dry and overcooked. The fries were good and crispy. My son loved his Chilli cheese dog, so maybe I ordered wrong. Atmosphere was nice and unlike the other food chains refills on drinks are free. The chocolate cake shake is a definite must try, if you love chocolate, and make sure you grab a spoon to eat it . The consistency is like a frosty. Overall not bad, but not great either.
Parking: Plenty of parking no issue with parking at all.

All is good, except the drive-thru wait needs improving. Having a person standing out taking orders outside is dangerous, especially for women at night. The service drive-thru needs a better plan. This plan needs to be reviewed over for safety & money/card transactions. It looks to be a setup for the wrong person at the right timing. Everybody drive up isn't a resident or friendly person who can wait for food. I gave 2 points for better service drive-thru improvement. Anytime you satisfied waiting for an order in the drive-thru over 15 minutes or more. This can cause a problem down the line.

Chicago dog was spot on, drive thru was weird they had an employee take your order and at window pick up and pay. Service was excruciating slow.
