I've been all over the country, seeking that authentic no frills east coast style pie. This place comes as close as you get with its new haven style crispy, chewy and not at all floppy crust. Really affordable and perfect homemade sauce to cheese ratio. Only room for pickups. No BS filler, just clean and simple. I usually get plain cheese or the Margherita, as its just THAT good as it is. Im always craving it when im in the area and you can tell this guy loves the craft....
What an absolute gem that Livonia is blessed to have. If you think pizza is supposed to be like Pizza Hut or Domino's, you might want to stay away (or expand your palate with some REAL good stuff). If you know what real pizza is, this place will not disappoint you. Thin, light, soft, good char, real wholesome crust, not overloaded with toppings. Perfect balance. This is the kind of place that makes a simple cheese pizza and knocks it out of the park. I absolutely love this...
