We stopped here, because I wanted mashed potatoes 😂 I had never been, but my sister had. I ordered the southern fried chicken. I had lemon chicken rice soup and ate the potatoes. The green beans were just ok. I brought the chicken home. Had some for dinner... It was delicious 🤤🤤 I think it's the best I've ever had. I don't normally say that! Waitress was wonderful. She made sure waters and coffee always full. Eggs were perfect, toast was perfect (rye).. steak a little tough but great taste. Hash browns perfectly crisp on one side..wish crispy on the other.
Don't let the service distract you from not going here.
The food was fantastic. The Bacon Double Cheese Burger and the Patty Melt was one of the juiciest I've had since 30 years ago of places like big boy and rams horn.
The chicken strips and grilled chicken sandwich were also good.
All the fries (shoestring style) was excellent.
