A top tier spot for both delivery and carry out. Always great deals online and the fastest delivery. I haven’t ever had a pizza from either location that isn’t exactly perfect with the toppings perfectly spread. So much so I had to take a photo of ours today. Look at this. Why would you go anywhere else? You shouldn’t. That day at home where you don’t want to leave? Slice of the 80s got you.

Easy menu on website. Fast, and fresh. Lots of cheese and toppings. I ordered the radical, a meat lovers specialty. Roommate suggested this as a place for really good pizza when you don't want cheap. It was my reward for a really good day.

The pizza and all its products are excellent, and the friendliness and service are very good. A highly recommended place to buy good food.

The Livonia location was really good when it first opened. Ever since it's just not consistent. Every time I order there's one thing wrong on the pizza. Last time we asked for no onions, came with onions. This time asked for butter parmesan crust, came cold and with plain crust. Im 3 min. away and never had it come cold so confused what happened there. I love the atmosphere of this local place though and every now and then it's really good. Just too hit or miss.

Are you tired of crappy pizza?

I’ve tried this place a few times through DoorDash and the food was always amazing! The pepperoni is always fresh and not like any other pepperoni out there. Today, I visited the store and the atmosphere is so cool. When you enter the quaint restaurant you’re greeted by an old school arcade game, I didn’t have a chance to play, so I can’t tell you what games are available or if it’s functioning but high score for aesthetics. Covering the walls you have all things 80s, sorta feels like you walked into a Time Machine. What makes this place even better, is the customer service. The pizza wasn’t ready when I arrived, so I was given a complimentary soda. This is appreciated by someone who works in customer service, being that a lot of pizza places just have you wait without the consideration to apologize. The young lady at the front desk was very polite and courteous. Also, may I add, when I called to order my pizza, the gentleman was welcoming and made me glad I drove 30 minutes. You guys Rock, not 2024 rock but 80s Rock!

Pizza Turned Up to 11!

I'd heard the legend of Slice of the 80s for quite some time, and I knew it was only a matter of time before I answered the call. It was finally my time to enter this pizza chain, and I'm glad I did.

The nostalgic vibe of colorful, fun relics from a rad era was on full display throughout the restaurant, transporting me back to a fun and simpler time.

And bonus! While I waited for my pizza to be made, the classic arcade game was a time machine that perfectly complemented the nostalgic atmosphere. So I accepted the challenge.

But what really sealed the deal was the pizza. The pizza was pure awesomeness! I liked the pizza I ordered, and it definitely holds its own against their competition. In my book, Slice of the 80s gets the decision – they're a top contender in the Metro Detroit pizza scene.

It was like I was the Terminator, sent from the future to 1984, but my mission was to eat delicious, affordable pizza... and I accomplished it.

I'll be back.

This Livonia location started out really well a number of years ago but has steadily gone downhill during 2024. Several times this year the pizza has been subpar from what we’ve come to expect from Slice of the 80’s. When the order is done right, the pizza is great but the quality is too random from this location. Don’t know if there’s been a change in management or what but it’s definitely changed. From now on we will be ordering from the original location in Westland when we want Slice of the 80’s pizza.

My favorite pizza place since I've been in Detroit for the past 2 years. They're fast, good customer service, and specialty pizza is pretty solid. Correct portions, nice crust, the bread sticks are great. They remind me of the old pizza hut bread sticks, all around great imo.

I won't be back. The cheese was not good. I asked for extra extra sauce, and I didn't get that, so I'm moving on...
