Staples is a great bar-and-grill. The owner is awesome! The food is normally very good. Was there last week, 2 of us ordered a Patty Melt, mouth drooling for a nice juicy Patty Melt. ordered medium, it came "over" well done. It was so dry and horrible. I. Almost didn't want to pay for it, but I did. they need a new cook! It ruined my dinner.
Should be top 3 bars in Livonia. Great food and consistent quality. Value is undeniable. I gmwould pick eating here over most chain restaurants in Livonia. Drinks are reasonably priced as well. Dive bar atmosphere with 2 dart boards, a golden tee and a hunting arcade game. Good drinks and eats. Attentive and friendly front of house staff.
Stables is a “ staple “ in Livonia! Grew up in Livonia and they’’re still thriving! The food here is always great! Ordered carryout tonight med on burgers n burgers were perfectly cooked! I expected them to be bc they always are! Fries were crispy n salted. Put all the veggies for burgers in separate container 😎. Def recommend Stables and they’re open later than most places! 😁
