Following a funeral, at the last minute, everyone decided to go to lunch. We called Jamesport requesting a table for 15, not knowing that would actually be 22 of us. Not only did they accommodate our party, they also allowed us a private room. Our server was Matt and he was fabulous. The food was delicious. Everything came out so quick and everyone was so accommodating. I would highly highly highly recommend.
Would I go back? Yes. Could the meal have been better? Also yes. This is a restaurant that is good with the potential to be great. Perch dinner was outstanding. Pecan perch w cherry vinaigrette was interesting but way over cooked. The vinaigrette was delightful. Cheddar soup was too bacon-y. Dial back the bacon & it would be fantastic. The Mousse cake was ok. Frosting was great. Cakes was dry. Blueberry coulis was just sweet -

We were in Ludington for the day and stopped in for supper and beers. There was plenty of street parking near the venue.
The beer was served quickly even though it was busy at 5:30 in the afternoon.
It was nice on the outside deck but I fear those nice evenings may be at an end for this year.
My perch on a bun was nice and the beef poke bowl was also good.
I would return.
