Had the opportunity to have lunch at the Amigo Burrito Cafe in the Murray Hotel on Mackinac Island twice during the week I visited.
Fresh ingredients, delicious flavor, too large of a portion but one that is reasonably priced and served by dedicated, friendly, smiling staff members who obviously enjoy what they do. The cafe is clean, well maintained, organized and efficient.
I strongly suggest a visit to the Amigo Burrito Cafe to check for yourself. While visiting, be sure to get information on the Murray hotel for your next visit to the island. You most certainly won't be disappointed. Enjoy!

We ordered burrito bowl for our lunch and it was very tasty. Their service very good and prices are very reasonable. As a hotel guest you can get free chips and soda to make a combo. Staff members were very friendly and helped us with our specific requests.

Worst experience, sign clearly states they close at 4. Was told to come in and order by a lady outside and when I got up there they said they were "closed" over an hour before they were supposed to be and they laughed hysterically as I walked away. Was going to be a first time customer, Will not be returning.

Marcia so kind and very nice. We are vegetarian- nice maxican food . She prepared our nachos with heart. Very nice and serves us nicely

The food was not good. The sweet pork was horrible. Would not recommend. The tacos were good, make with ground beef.

Build your own burrito/taco/bowl, and it's obvious what's vegan. The portions were generous and the flavors were good!

Absolutely terrible.

This place is trying to be a build your own Tacos, Nachos, Burritos, and Bowls in the style of Chipotle, Qdoba, and Moe's except failing at it in every way. The previously mentioned three are superior to this place any day of the week.

We had a party of four, three of us had nachos and one of us a bowl.

The nacho chips were round chips from a bag, the nacho cheese resembled the cheap stuff that comes in a can. The chicken and salsa were basically flavorless. The lettuce was wilted.

The bowl was basically taco soup with wilted lettuce.

Not worth the $20, and I have a feeling the only reason this place stays in business is due to its location (being on the island), as well as being one of the few lower cost options on the island.

This place was okay. We had the bowl and it was a soupy mess. Nachos were so so. Not worth it for the cost.

Don't waste your time. More expensive than necessary, no flavor. Plenty of other options in a pinch.

Our family of 4 stopped by for a meal July 4th. We ordered two burritos and two orders of tacos. First of all, the bill was $78 (no drinks). Turns out, they overcharged us. An easy fix. I can’t say exactly in minutes how long it took to receive our food. It was a REALLY long time though. The food assembly process looked like a Qdoba assembly line. Which would be fine with us. Our burritos were grilled. I did not recall them saying the burritos were grilled. My wife’s burrito was cold inside. She asked for it to be remade. The put in the microwave. Not what we expected. She asked for a refund. They obliged. My burrito with lettuce and salsa inside was very hot inside. Hot lettuce anyone? I could not finish the mushy contents. My older daughter did not care for her tacos. She struggled to eat two of the three tacos. My youngest daughter at her 3 tacos without incident. We eat A LOT of Mexican food, both authentic and Americanized. This was pretty bad…

Food wasn’t terrible, Lady at the counter was extremely rude. Paid for 3 waters and was given two. Told her we needed another and she said “ I can’t just give you one. Showed her the receipt and she said there’s only two. I had to show her the third on the receipt.
