The place itself is beautiful, but the staff were absolutely horrible. I ordered an iced black coffee, but they gave me a hot one instead. When I asked them to change it, they were visibly annoyed and muttered under their breath. On top of that, the other items I ordered weren’t given to me until I had to remind them multiple times. The service was truly terrible.

Great place to get a beverage and sit on the patio that overlooks the water. I tried one of their seasonal lattes and the Lake Huron fog latte - both were delicious

If you’re a bit of a coffee snob (like me), this place is great! The cafe miel with almond milk was delicious.

If you’re in the vicinity of this place and you’re getting Starbucks, you’re making a bad decision.

Grabbed coffee for my bike ride around the island. Great spot!

TLDR: Not the best coffee on the island, but good location and vibes.

Iced vanilla latte was decent, on the sweeter side. The barista was nice and told us we could borrow pickle ball paddles for free at the bike rental shop… he was right. They have other pastries and snacks there as well.

Nice patio seating right outside, otherwise can go sit on the Adirondack chairs by the lake on the lawn like we did.

Had an allergy to egg but wanted ice cream - the 2 ladies working there were super unhelpful. We asked if the ice cream had eggs, and she immediately said yes without checking. When we asked to check the allergen menu, she gave us a blank stare and said she didn’t know where it was, without even looking. The other lady didn’t even move and try to look for it. This was all while the cafe was empty…

I would not recommend this place, unfortunately. They have breakfast burritos in their cold case. However when they try to heat them the middle stays cold (even after 2 attempts). The staff seemed pretty annoyed with everything and the coffee was more syrup than anything. For the price of the items, I expected more.

genuinely delicious bevvies: rose pistachio, vanilla oat, lilac honey, mint, caramel, etc.

Dietary restrictions: Oatmilk and almondmilk available.
(In fact, some of the specialty lattes are canonically made with plant-based milks! #defaultveg)

This is my favorite coffee shop on the island. The employees are always friendly, the place is super peaceful and the location is perfect; out of town and on the lake front.Their drinks are delicious and I love the fact that they have non dairy options.Not only do they sell coffee and pastries but they also sell on the go snacks, salads and sandwiches. If you forget to grab your water before going around the island this is the perfect place as they sell water and drink opinions. They also have a small alcohol selection which includes wines.
