We had a fabulous early dinner at Kingston Kitchen. Low volume of guest, however the food was great. The house Chardonnay was excellent.

Amazing Food fantastic service
A full level above the rest of the choices on Mackinac. The oxtail was a great recommendation from our server and the plantains were perfect!

Not too busy when we got there. They offer samplers of drinks if you want to try different ones, like 3 for $27. I ordered the jerk chicken, it was delicious. Not too spicy but had a nice peppery flavor. The portion size was nice. Wife got the plank whitefish; it was cooked to perfection and stayed warm because of the plank. The food came pretty quickly, I was expecting Island time, lol. Highly recommend the place.

Enjoyed our second visit to Kingston Kitchen in Mackinac Island and will be back again! The salad I ordered was unique and delicious.....a warm, spicy kick to it! Great food, drinks, and atmosphere:)
What is the best meal? I’ve had in five years. The brisket tacos on the appetizer was literally to die for the shrimp for some of the best shrimps that ever had, and I live near the Golf of Mexico .

This place has the best tasting, authentic Caribbean food in the state! The Ting with a Sting drink instantly transported me to the Caribbean! The planked whitefish was cooked PERFECTLY and great for a healthy, delicious meal!! Highly recommend!

We have been here for 4 days and due to the wild fires in Canada and Minnesota we couldn’t do as much as we wanted outside, so we spent a lot of times at restaurants. This was the first one during our time here that served our food prepared as advertised. Plus unlike the other 3 fish meals I’ve had on the island this was cooked to perfection!

Food is Jamaican based and delicious. Very flavorful and a little kick to it.
Large portions.
A little loud inside, but it was the sailing competition at Mackinac when we went so there were large tables of people, likely involved in the competition.
Overall recommend.
Great vibes, great food. Ainsley is the man!

We visited Mackinac island and decided to try this restaurant and it was so good. Best pina coloda ever. We also had the coconut shrimp and cheese balls and both were delicious. The staff and owner were very friendly and took good care of us

Their hygiene needs to improve
I am not normally one to leave bad reviews, but I was incredibly disappointed about my husband’s and my experience dining here. It started off good - the hostess Evelyn was super bubbly and seated us very quickly. Unfortunately, after that it went downhill. Our server Nick had such an attitude and disappeared multiple times throughout our dinner - to the point where we had to ask other servers to flag him down. He completely forgot to bring us our lemonades, but they still showed up on the bill and it took
20 minutes to get that charge taken off. I also saw him take a few shots at the bar during his shift, which was incredibly unprofessional to me. Then, not only was the food overpriced it was SEVERLY overcooked. My husband ordered the jerk chicken and it was borderline inedible. Needless to say, we will NOT be back and if any of you are looking for a nice restaurant to spend your vacation dining in, do NOT go to this one.
