I wasn't expecting Jamaican food on Mackinac Island but was very pleased with Kingston Kitchen.
My wife had the pot pie (seasonal special) and it was exceptional - flaky pastry on top of delicious chicken, bell pepper, and onion sauteed. I had the Jonkoo beef which was also very tasty (I thought the side of sweet plantains were absolutely top notch).
Great place to grab a bite to eat!

was looking forward to a special jamaican meal! when we entered, the hostess rolled her eyes when seating us, and then we waited 20 minutes and no one waited on us. we left and had a wonderful meal at Seabiscuit where we were treated warmly.

We loved our meal at the Kingston Kitchen! The service was friendly and fast, and the food was delicious. Dining on the porch was really relaxing. We appreciate the number of interesting vegetarian offerings. We had the Cool Runnings Salad and the Jackfruit Sandwich. Both were nicely presented and very tasty. The catsup was so good!

THE BEST restaurant on the island. Friendly, quick, and absolutely out-of-this-world delicious. Flavorful, fresh, and so many options! I need to come back just to try all the other things I didn’t order this time. Highly recommend to anyone that enjoys tasty, homemade food and creative yummy drinks ?
