This resturant had a classic charm and the food was delicious. The truffle fries were a crowd pleaser and the meatloaf sliders were a close second. Service was friendly and quicker than we were expecting. We came after another resturant nearby had an hour plus wait and here we were able to get a table right away.
First time coming was not very hospitable, we walked in for lunch and said hello to the young man who was at the host stand. He looked at us Iike we walked in by mistake. He did not say hello back just pointed at our coffees with just 2 sips left in them and said no outside drinks... He didnt even have the deceny to say hello to us just decided to say what he said. He was extremely rude and did not set a good tone for our first time experience being on the island and being at...
We got here right when they opened at 11 and the host stared at us wide eyed without greeting us when we came in. I broke the silence by saying “Hi, we’re here for lunch” to which he responded only by pointing at the coffee cup in my hand telling me I can’t bring outside drinks in. Alright, fine but, what happened to “Hello,” “how are you?,” “good afternoon,” or “welcome in?” Poorly trained and rude host.
