l Love this place!!! All the bartenders, Kelsey, Meridith, Austin and everyone else were amazing all summer. This place makes the best espressi martini on the island, make sure to grab one! Also trivia is a blast and karaoke!

The food was phenomenal! Actually have Irish beer. Friendly staff, great atmosphere with historical accents highlighting Mackinac island.

I love the atmosphere of this place, and the food is always good as well. Service this time was iffy, as our server quickly lost interest in us after we ordered. The Brussel Sprouts and flatbreads are very good.

Had the Guinness stew which was too salty, thin broth, and missing almost all its veggies. Asked for a replacement which was better, but still more of a thin soup with overly dry meat chunks. The accompanying au gratin potatoes were good but way too salty. Priced at $29, this meal is a miss.

I didn't realize eating at an Irish Pub on Mackinac Island was on my bucket list until we did it. So amazing! I got the house burger. It was the best burger I've had in my life. My husband got a Reuben, he loved it too. Really friendly waiter who was great with our little girl. The atmosphere was wonderful.

Ate here unexpectedly on our last night on the island and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The Stout Braised Short Ribs and Beef Stew were the highlights for us. The short ribs were tender and the sauce was stellar. The beef stew was warm and hearty and came with potatoes au gratin which were delicious. The portions of each meal were large, including the kids chicken tenders which came with 3 tenders and lots of fries.

They had a gluten free bun for the burgers which was made in a separate pan to be celiac safe, as well as the mashed potatoes.

The atmosphere was fun and they have trivia and karaoke nights. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something different on the island.

Best place on the Island to have fun! We loved being here singing along with the Pub Runners this holiday weekend. Great appetizers. Disappointed in the turkey rueben, though tasty, it was mostly bread missing meat. Had to have Guiness cake because I was still hungry!9 Not the worst thing. The service was great! Everyone is happy at Patrick Doud's place!

The irish stew and the bangars were absolutely terrible. Don't waste your money eating this food.

Shauna was the best bartender we have had in the island. She was attentive, personable and made our experience so much fun! We encourage everyone to stop at Doug’s for a true “taste of Ireland” - ask for Shauna!
