Shauna was the best bartender we have had in the island. She was attentive, personable and made our experience so much fun! We encourage everyone to stop at Doug’s for a true “taste of Ireland” - ask for Shauna!

Reuben was good, but not among the best we've had. The seafood chowder was great. our server was not around much and it seemed like it took a long time to give our order and get our drinks.

Absolutely our favorite spot to hit as soon as they open. The Irish Brekky is the best thing on the menu, hands down. And drink-wise, a Devil in the Morning or an Espresso Martini is always a win. ??????

Had a lovely time here! Can’t rate the food, but the cocktails were fantastic and the service was wonderful. Loved the acoustic singer the night we were there. Will be a main stop for us for future Island visits.

We ate here for lunch and came back for dinner. For lunch we had the French onion soup, delicious; not overdone with onions or bread and the cheese is melted perfectly. I also had the rueben. Big sandwich, not over dressed or soggy.
For dinner, I had the chicken and mushroom pie. The chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy and tender. The mushroom sauce goes perfectly with the chicken. It's served on top of a puffed pantry with mashed potatoes underneath. Lots of food, hearty meal. I also had a small wedge salad. Way too big for one person, I shared mine with my hubby. The food is great and the portions are generous.

We had Michigan Lake trout, was amazing,such a big serving! Creamy and tasty!
We also had Seafood Ravioli, another creamy and amazingly tasty dish! This place is awesome! Very good service too! Recommended 110%:)

Katie was my server, I honestly thought she was running the place by the way she catered to my EVERY needs- and trust me I had a lot! If it wasn’t for her I would’ve seriously had the worst trip ever! she turned my day around and maybe even my life. Promote her!

We were walking by to find somewhere to eat and came in here. We got burgers and fries to take to our hotel and eat. The burgers and fries were very good. We were looking for a family style or diner to sit down in and they seem to have odd hours. We were told all businesses and restaurants are open until 9pm. This was not the case. This place other than the Grand Hotel were the best places to eat at.

We really enjoyed this Irish Pub for breakfast, so much so we went 2 days in a row! The “Irish breakey” breakfast & their daily quiches are delicious! Large portions & reasonably priced.
One afternoon we returned for drinks, wedge salad & whitefish chowder.
The wait staff was friendly & pleasant.
The decor is Irish pub with pictures & history of Mackinac island on the walls.
Highly recommend!
