We struggled with the service here to be honest. We waited 10 minutes at least to be greeted by a server after being seated. We waited another 15 to get our drinks, others being seated around us getting drinks before we did. We only had a table of 5 so it wasn't a super large party or that of crazy drink requests. We didn't skip a beat to get our order placed for food for fear of waiting longer. The brussel sprouts and the fish and chips were both hits at the table.

One of the better Guinnesses I've had in awhile, the stew was one of the worst. Most of the carrots and potatoes weren't cooked thoroughly, only one of each seemed cooked all the way through. Bland gravy, chewy flavourless beef. If the baked beans weren't from a can, I'd be surprised since it was the only edible thing about my food option. Wife's roast beef had a side completely dried through, almost like jerky. Overpriced for the small and lackluster portions, maybe only drink here

I was super impressed. The menu looked so good. We had the mussels. They were delicious. I had the sweet potato burger. I was not disappointed. My husband had the grilled. The flavor was good. McKenna was awesome at serving us. Thank you so much!

The server was awesome. Food was well prepared. It is one of the pricier places to eat on the island. Would still recommend a visit.

First experience a huge disappointment. I ordered the Guinness Stew, described as: Tender beef, bacon, carrots, and peas in a dark Guinness gravy under a Puff pastry crust. Served with baked beans. I ate the puff pastry crust, which was more doughy than crusty. Then the real fin began. I searched in earnest with my fork for this tender beef. At first I thought it was a myth, like a Leprechaun. After a couple minutes of searching I was able to find three sorry little pieces of beef, which were in fact tender. But three 2 inch cubes of beef in a $27 a dish called BEEF stew is a stretch. It also didn’t come with the baked beans listed on the menu and I didn’t ask for them because I didn’t want any further disappointment. The Douds need to stick to selling groceries and leave the restaurant business to those who know what they’re doing.

Not recommended. Ordered Gaelic Chicken and did not receive risotto but they still charged full price. Also, ordered 2 Jameson on the rocks and was charged $19 for the 2 Jamesons (I'm okay with that) and an additional $4 for the ice (extra for ice???). Just crazy. The food was good but pricing practices are way out of line.

We stopped in for my parents 50th anniversary and the service and food were both amazing. I would certainly go back and would highly recommend it.

Great food and atmosphere. Our server, Dave, nailed the “Three Ps” of great service. He was prompt, polite and professional. Five stars.
