The Pink Pony is one of the only places on the island that routinely has a wait list. That's because it has earned its reputation as one of the best restaurants on the island. It's casual, with a waterside outdoor dining area in addition to an indoor dining room. There are bars inside and out. Excellent food and fantastic service are always the norm.
My experience at Pink Pony was mostly great! The chicken riggies pasta was good and full of veggies, but I felt like it was overpriced for what it was at $38. Also came here later for drinks and live music; prices for drinks are not listed (which is typical at most restaurants) but I did not expect my non-alcoholic cocktail to be almost $20! Service was slow at times too during the live music, despite the bar being half full so not sure what was up with that. It was much better...
The Pink Pony is a very busy American eatery. The atmosphere and decorations were especially nice for the fall season. However, I would not wait over an hour for this food. I had the French dip and maple smoked pork belly. The food is GOOD, I wasn’t taken aback I think this is one of the better spots to eat on the island. I also didn’t think the bill was that crazy either but they don’t list their alcohol prices and I don’t like that.
