Honestly, the only decent meal we had all weekend on the island. Views obviously couldn't be beat, food was good but service was absolutely fantastic. Damion was friendly, prompt and funny. Highly recommend leaving the main street and eating at the resort even if you're not staying there.
We had a LOVELY meal tonight at Round Island Kitchen. I ordered the cobb salad and corn chowder. The cobb salad is gf and was loaded with toppings. The dressing was both in perfect amount and a perfect flavor addition. I couldn't have been any happier with my meal. Everyone else loved their meals too - from fish to burgers to kids chicken fingers. It is a beautiful restaurant and the friendly service tonight was wonderful!
The atmosphere and service was phenomenal, maybe I am spoiled, but the fish was ok. I opted for the Lake Superior White Fish and I was disappointed. The fish is nearly covered with a potato puree and you lose have to dig under the puree to get to to your fish. I would try the steak next time.
