The outdoor location is nice for watching the waves. The pricing is low for Mackinac Island. However, when we went, they were running out of most of their menu. They also ran out of ketchup, which is peculiar for a hot dog place. I recommend sticking to the dogs and brats, as the hamburger was literally just a patty on a bun. The Detroit-style dog was good.
A fantastic location. The food is decent—the main selling point is the location on the water and the fact that the food is very affordable compared to the rest of the restaurants on the island. Unfortunately they never seem to be open when we visit the island lately. There is always a sign saying they’ll open at 11 AM, but it never opens. It’s very frustrating.

There are picnic tables to eat and rest, a little area by the water to take some great pics of the lighthouse.
Pack something to put your food in the tables, as seagulls do stand on those tables, and fly over.
Please do not feed the birds.
