I'm really proud of this find. The food is made to order, but brought out faster than you could make it at home. The staff we saw were mostly mature women that know the area and how to take care of a family. They are friendly, efficient and pleasant to be around. The breakfast was next level. It is not only delicious but plentiful. We weren't planning to eat all of it, but couldn't stop because it was so good.
We've been in town for 4 days and We've eaten here 3 times and every meal has been delicious. I had the hot meatloaf sandwich and it may have been the best meatloaf I've ever eaten. Real mashed potatoes very good also.
I have been stopping at Darrows for my yearly St. Ignace vacation for the last few years now. They are without a doubt the best resturant in Mackinaw City, in my humble opinion. Their breakfast is delightful, BUT the hot turkey sandwhich is the best meal I've ever eaten in the city. 10/10 would recommend.
