We HAVE to get our smoked fish here! We stayed on Mackinac Island and could not wait to head home with our smoked fish! My mom visits often as she lives nearby, but the salmon calls to my family as we live too far from our favorite treat! I had to write /DO NOT eat my fish! / when I got home as someone gobbled it all up before I had one bite last time...of course I had another kind of fish, but I had not tried the salmon! 🤣
We got some fish and some jerky. We were not disappointed! The fish reminded me of the fish my grandma used to get when I used to come visit MI when I was younger. Fish and jerky were full of flavor and I was highly satisfied with our choices!
So good I went back 20 minutes after the 1st visit and bought more to bring home on the plane to NC.
Smoked trout, Cajun jerky, pepper sticks! And whitefish pate!
Next time my carry on will be filled with this deliciousness!
