Great Sandwiches, fast and friendly service!
This was my first visit and it did not disappoint! I got a Breakfast Sammie on sourdough bread and it was fantastic! The addition of fresh spinach, pepper sauce, shallots and the marinade was just delicious! I’m looking forward to grabbing some of their dinner items and am thrilled that they are open during the week for evening hours!
A hidden gem of the north side!! The sandwiches and coffee are so good and the menu has a ton of variety that anyone is bound to find something they enjoy! Please support this amazing local business as it’s a great addition to the north side and makes Chicago feel a little more like home!

Smash Sandwiches is a sandwich shop in Mackinaw City. The food is made fresh to order. The Mighty Mac is a huge sandwich, perfect to split for two people. The Mackinaw is a beautiful, very big, and very tasty sandwich. Sandwiches are great with fresh vegetables and juicy meat. There are also orders for vegetarians. Portions are generous. The food tasted great and is delicious. It might be a little pricey for a sandwich, but customers get what they pay for. The staff were friendly, professional, and active. Everybody smiles and greets from entry to exit. The atmosphere is great with cute music. There is a cool robot. The shop runs sales like $2 off all sandwiches and provides free chips with purchase. Smartly provided pull-through parking nearby is convenient for camper trailers passing through town. It is a cut above the rest and definitely worth the price and the trip.
