The ice cream was very expensive. Got the soft serve. My five year old nephew got cotton candy in a cone. He ate 3/4 of the ice cream. When he was done he told my mom and I that cotton candy ice cream is his new favorite flavor. The staff was friendly and the store was very clean. If you go to mackinaw city and stop at this place you will not be disappointed.

We stopped in Mackinaw on the way home on Labor Day. We saw this shop and the freeze dried candy sign outside drew us in. We saw the marketing for $7 and some change for the freeze dried candy no matter the kind. It’s more than what we usually pay but thought we would like the snacks for the rest of the ride home. My wife got the sour skittles and I got the nerds clusters. The sour skittles were normal and to be expected quality. However my n*** clusters were hardly freeze dried. Some weren’t even puffed or like they attempted to freeze dry it. The ones that were partially done were terrible. They were so sticky and hard to eat and swallow. There were only a few of any quality. I’d say 60-70% of the bag was not to quality. I would definitely not recommend getting these again unless they fix the issue. I could have bought a better bag for less or even bought a bag of the clusters for less, since they weren’t even hardly freeze dried anyways. Sad I had to throw over half of it away.

We went in to "town" to shop last Monday before we departed Tuesday morning. As the ladies finished up shopping they made comment of everyone walking by w ice cream.... then spied a sign that they gleefully read aloud "76 flavors!!"I opted for a cup of the delicious Ultimate Peanut Butter Brownie!! It came w a small waffle cone piece on top. The ice cream flavors are so unique that it's not too overwhelming. I didn't shop around but I'm pretty sure I was in candy heaven! I didn't peruse the taffy wall, just enough to see there were dozens of flavors for $11.99/pound. There are several candy/fudge stores almond this main artery that I didn't check out so I'm not sure how Sweet Spot stacks up, all I know is that the four of us left satisfied. Thanks Sweet Spot for the sweet treat!

The horrible service is a great distraction from how gross the fudge tastes. Highlights here include: being blatantly ignored for no less than five minutes while employees chat with their friends and being condescended to when asking what the difference was between two flavors. "There's like 50 flavors and you think I know what they all are?" is not an appropriate answer especially when most of those flavors are as as difficult to understand as Dark Chocolate and Mint Chocolate. The fudge is not made in house; it's the same crap they sell in many of the shops. And the non-chocolate base tastes like playdoh with vanilla extract.

The staff is very nice and accommodating, the store is very clean. They have 76 flavors of homemade ice cream - it’s almost too many! We got waffle cones with chocolate peanut butter and mackinaw peanut butter fudge. We got a single and double scoop, they were both generous sized. The ice cream was smooth and creamy with abundant amounts of peanut butter, chocolate and fudge in our flavor choices The two cones were a little over $13.00 which seemed reasonable when compared to the other ice cream prices. We would definitely get ice cream here again.

For ice cream: great selection of flavors, great portions, great value. Much better than our visit to Mickey's a couple nights before.

Limitless flavor combinations, friendly, clean and fast service..... Just a freaking great ice cream parlor. My personal favorite in makinaw city, you'd be a fool to cross the bridge without a cone!

This is now our go-to chocolate and sweet shop in Mackinaw City. Great selection of dark chocolates and ice cream. Fudge too.
