There were two entrances and no signs directing us to the host stand. Once we finally got seated, the wait for food was so long we ended up leaving! The people behind us ordered ice cream and didn't receive spoons!
Visiting from down state, wanted to try this place. Heard really great things. We get there to find doors open, music playing but not one person working. Worth the attempt though

Very good food. Cool atmosphere in the old depot. It was not busy when we were there, so I cannot review the service speed.

Horrible dining experience. Had to request our menus. Longer then average wait for our food, food presentation was poor. No recheck by the server for drinks or anything else for that matter. Had to chase him down for our bill....they were screwing around with the bartender. Poor service, poor food, poor attentiveness = NO TIP. Even if I were starving to death I wouldn't go back to this joke of a 'restaurant'
Be forewarned.

Frozen food, all deep fried. Burgers were not smash burgers. They were thin patties but not prepared as traditional smash burgers are. I got the chicken sandwich. It was definitely a frozen breaded piece of chicken. The lettuce and spicy pickle relish were the only good things about it.
The service was poor. Our server sat us, got us water, took our order, and never returned. He came back with our food. He preferred cleaning the patio and texting instead of getting a good tip. If you're looking for good food and good service, keep walking.

Waited a good 6-8 minutes for someone to see us and seat us. Then we proceeded and ordered two drinks that came quickly. The rest is down from there. We ordered food shortly after and three other tables were sat in that time between us ordering and all three tables were served and we were not. We asked her if she forgot our whole food order. She asked what we ordered. Not a good look. This was the second place we walked right out of on this trip to Mackinaw. You are only busy one season. Get it together, start properly training these young kids customer service or watch your doors close! Over priced on all the food and drinks and add bad service and we will find else where to spend our whole next trip. I’m not coming back for this.

We stood outside in the rain with two small children for upwards of 5 minutes before the employee blocking the doorway staring at us offered to let us in and seat us. In hindsight we probably should have found a different place right then and there. The food was ok at best. It came out fast and hot, but incorrect and was drastically overpriced for the quality. The table was so wobbly that we had to hold it in place to eat. The chairs were worn and ripped. Our waitress had such broken English that we had a hard time communicating. She told me my card was denied, when in fact it was asking for a PIN. Very disappointing experience overall. We live only about an hour and a half away and often recommend the Straits area to out of town visitors. Having an experience like this makes me question service standards in the area.

Hopped off the ferry from Mackinaw Island and walked around Mackinac Crossings. Stopped here for a early dinner.
We had Feyza as our server, she was super sweet and polite. Learned allot about Turkey. :)
Four of us. Two ordered chicken tenders. One smash burger and one sampler basket.
Smash Burger: Cooked exactly like I like. Medium. Plenty of pickle. Mayo. Lettuce. Tomato. The beer batter fries were crispy and hot.
Chicken tenders basket was standard frozen chicken tenders. Not bad. Served hot with those fresh hot fries.
Sampler basket was full !! Of all the appetizer offerings. All hot an good.
The place is clean. For being historic. The staff all around was plenty polite. We enjoyed our experience.
One reviewer said there were English issues. Be patient. These are young people on work visas doing a great job. :)
Side note: No one appreciates an unexplained 3% " service fee " added to your bill under the sales tax line. Management. Really.

The food was good but not worth what we paid for it. 70 dollars later and all we got was 2 small burgers fries, a chicken tender basket, deep fried pickles, and 6 drinks because there were no free refills apparently.

Overall we got what we expected. It was standard fare. It seemed like it was all very basic and quite consistent with food offerings at a heavy tourist traffic area. It wasn't bad by any means. Please don't take a 3 star rating as bad, it's just average; we'd probably stop again if in the area.

This is not the same restaurant it once was. The staff struggle with english. They were helpful when they understood what we wanted. It was expensive for what we got.

The front desk host was so incredibly rude we did not even eat there.

It’s a limited menu and they didn’t have half the items we ordered from the menu.
