“The BOGO offer brought me in for lunch today….ill start by saying overall it was good! Restaurant was clean and food was good. The bad…both women behind the counter were simply not nice. I wasn’t expecting “chick-fil-a” type service but a smile would’ve been nice. The people behind the counter are the face of your business, they should be nicer. I got bare minimum communication from either of them. The really bad…three bites into my wrap I found a long dark hair attached to my chicken. And I SPECIFICALLY asked the older women taking my order if they grilled the wrap and she told me yes and it wasn’t grilled.“

“Went here to grab a quick bite to eat. We had chicken tender and fried chicken breasts. The macaroni salad was great. Everything was hot and fresh and they had such a great variety of fresh food to choose from. They have a mini deli with lots of salads to choose from. They also sell polish sausages, fresh salads, banana pudding, potato wedges and more. Staff was fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend for a quick bite to eat on the go.“

“Besides having amazing ham, the turkey breast (smoked or roasted) is absolutely delicious! The blueberry coffee cake and carrot cake is a must have as well. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming.“

“We just booked CJ’s to cater our country wedding reception with their Pig Roast menu. The food was fantastic! We had plenty for everyone and almost everyone asked where the food came from. Due to Covid, our wedding was put together in 3 months. CJ’s handled everything beautifully. Set up, clean up, making sure food was restocked, they were marvelous. I would be happy to use them again. “The deli is located inside a Shell Gas Station. We just tried the chicken at the suggestion of my brother-in-law and it was simply delicious! We ordered the 8 piece mixed. I only eat white meat. The breast was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and delicious with a classic fried chicken flavor. My husband ate the rest and he loved it too! We also had coleslaw and garlic bread. Both were an a great accompaniment to the chicken. We did not try the potato wedges or the mac and cheese. We also shared a slice of meat pizza on the way home. We enjoyed this too. There was no need for us to call ahead for our family-sized order as the food is ready and waiting in warmers. The gentleman that waited on us was kind and helpful which was a bonus! I can see how people would use the Chicago Deli for their catering needs: great food and wonderful service! We will be back!“
